OUR APPROACH
Source removal is the most effective way to clean air ducts. Doc’s Super Vac uses a push-pull method. The system is placed under constant negative air pressure by using a specialized, powerful vacuum. While the vacuum pulls air through the system, brushes and/or whips travel through the registers to dislodge dirt and debris on the interior surfaces. The debris travels down through the duct system to the vacuum, which removes it from the system and the home.
FREQUENCY
Typically, HVAC systems should be inspected for cleaning around every five years. Frequency of cleaning depends on several factors including:
- Breathing difficulties such as allergies and asthma.
- Smoking in the home
- Shedding pets
- Water and/or fire contamination or restoration
- Renovations and/or remodeling
- Construction and/or farming in surrounding area
